Introductory Paragraphs



  1. It’s all common knowledge that students use to take notes during classes. They need to take notes because they want to make sure that they won’t forget about their materials, so they can re-read the notes later. There is no exception for International students, they also use to take notes. But as a matter of fact, they might probably have difficult time taking notes in class due to the different language, different culture, and of course their understanding of the explanation from the lecturer.
  2. Every student probably have a same dream (if we generalize it), to be a successful student. But we know that success can’t be reached in an easy and simple way. A successful student has, at least, these following qualities : diligent; creative; and having good responsibility.
  3. Generation gap is a different way in showing attitudes and values between generations. It commonly happens in our social environment, especially in our family life between parents and children. A generation gap exists in my home because of different knowledge, age, and life style.
  4. Disaster might be the least likely thing that anybody wants. Yep, we know that natural disaster, especially the major one, might lead our society to a complete mess and it’s extreme circumstances it might lead every single soul into peril danger. To survive from major disaster such as earthquake surely requires at least these two things : logistical support and disaster reduction agency.
  5. The wealth and welfare of citizens are always definitely be the main vision and goal of a country. But we can’t avoid the fact that poverty is always easily be found everywhere around us. Poverty creates negative consequences for society such as hunger, illness, and increasing number of criminality.
  6. Each and every living person in this universe has their own traits and personality. Even if they are twin. Take my twin sisters, they are as different as day and night not only in the way they act but also in the way they behave.
  7. At this urban era, people from suburbs may want to move to a larger city. They probably want to have a better life. As we know, living in a city has certain advantages over living in the suburbs : higher quantity and quality of public facilities, more chances to get better jobs, and easier access of public transportation.
