Advantages and Disadvantages of Using the Internet
The Internet is a source of information that is needed 21st century. Currently, the Internet is growing very rapidly among humans. Many people open the internet because it makes it easier to find the latest information the world and the internet is also a lot of benefits for them. However, not a few people who become victims after accessing the internet. In this essay, I will discuss the benefits and dangers of the internet.
One of the benefits of internet is the communication medium. There are many facilities on the internet that help us communicate with each other like E-mail, Facebook, Twitter and others. All of these facilities allow people to communicate with others from different countries around the world. In addition, the internet is the medium of information. Currently, many people need the latest update information. For example, Google and Yahoo are search engine information that provides all kinds of information topics we need such as, job vacancy, health information, politics, and others.
Furthermore, the internet is an entertainment medium. The Internet is becoming successful, because it provides a lot of entertainment that can entertain internet users for example, online gaming.
Conversely, the Internet also has many weaknesses. The fact is that the internet has a lot of porn sites. This is the greatest threat to human life, especially children. Already many people who become victims of porn sites on the internet. In addition, the internet also sends viruses to your computer. When your computer is connected to the internet it often happens that the virus is attacking your computer hard disk. Another disadvantage of the internet is that many people steal personal information on the internet. This case often occurs in today's world, when it stores personal information such as name, address, credit card number, and so on. So many criminals will access the data. Therefore, beware of the internet because it has many dangers for human life.
In conclusion, I believe that the internet has many benefits for humans who can help to communicate, source information, entertainment media, and others. However, the internet also has many negative sides for its users. Therefore, use the internet wisely so we can take good things and benefits from the internet. This, depending on the internet user itself.
