The Positive and Negative Impact of Sex Education in School
Sexual abuses are very alarming case nowadays. There are so many victims that don’t deserve to treated like this. The lack of knowledge from the subjects and also the victims is the main problem here. The government need to think about this seriously. They don’t have to just seat and silent like everything is fine. They need to act, and the most influential act is by imposed sex education in school. But from teach sex education, the student will accept the positive and negative impacts.
Sex education is an information of human sexuality clearly and correctly. That information include the process of fertilization, pregnancy, and nativity, sexual contact, healthy aspects, psychology, and also sociological. But, people need to know that sex education also thought about reproduction system. Sex education is appropriately taught from we are in school, whether in formal or informal ways.
Beside that, there are two factors why sex education is so important; the first is when kids grow to be a teenagers, they don’t know about sex education yet. While, their parent think that to talk about sex is so taboo, so it causes they don’t take responsibility with sex or their healthy anatomy reproduction. The second is a lack knowledge of teenagers make them think that sex is just a negative thing like pornography and causes a high score of sexual contact beyond the marriage, a pregnancy, infection of HIV, and etc.
But, having sex education in school also have a negative effects. One of the negative effect students to find out about sex and eventually they will involve in free sex. It is true that sex education is likely introduced to prevent pregnancy among teenagers as the students will be taught about methods of preventing pregnancy, but it doesn’t mean that pregnancy will never happens. It is afraid that if these teenagers got pregnant out of wedlock, they will dump the baby right after they gives birth and the cases of baby dumping will never decreased.

So, I believe if sex education would be taught in school the government still need to think from the positive and negative impact. If they choose to still teach sex education from school, I hope that they can minimize the negative impact of sex education.
