Promiscuity in Teenagers
Teenagers are individuals who have uncontrolled emotions by proper self-control. Teenager is a time of search for one's self identity so that teenagers will try whatever they think is good and make them curious about it. The lack of family and knowledge, and the invitation of peers so that the promiscuity of the community creates a decrease in the potential of the younger generation. Various facts that occur today, not a few teenagers who fall into adultery and abortion due to promiscuity. The main factor causing this is the current lack of understanding of society against the social barriers between men and women. In addition, the modernization flows that have globalized and weak teenager beliefs have resulted in the entry of foreign cultures with ease. Parents have an important role and must have the knowledge to be able to guide teenagers today, especially their children become good teenagers.
Promiscuity is a deviant behavior that violates religious norms as well as moral norms. The term of courtship is no stranger today, almost all teenagers are now dating. Indeed courtship is the beginning of the formation of adultery, what they should not know, but have been trying to know it. We certainly know that promiscuity is a form of deviant behavior, which has passed the limits of the existing religious norms. This free social problem we often hear both in the environment and from the mass media. The main cause of the lack of teenager life grip in religion and the instability of teen emotions as well as a high curiosity. It leads to uncontrolled and overcrowding behavior, which is identical to free sex.
Promiscuity can be avoided if parents and community members play an active role in providing motivation and encouragement to the teenagers and provide the facilities and infrastructure needed by adolescents in the process of youth. People can hold positive activities for teenagers so that everything they do can be useful in life such as youth activities of mosques and so on. Free promiscuity can not be underestimated, because promiscuity can plunge teenagers into future destruction. Therefore we must be able to choose good association because if we are wrong association then bad things that will befall us and our future.
